Pour la petite pause de l’après-midi, nous sommes allés à Bryant Park où certains ont fait des parties d’échecs avec des locaux, d’autres ont joué à un jeu typiquement américain et d’autres encore se sont installés dans le parc avec de petites boissons.
Après avoir pique-niqué au Rockefeller Center avec les repas que l’auberge nous avait préparés, le groupe 5 (Ewan, Sasha et Nadir) nous a présenté le centre de Manhattan. Nous sommes passés devant le MoMA, l’un des musées les plus populaires de New York, créé en 1929. Nous avons continué notre chemin vers le Radio City Music Hall puis le Rockefeller Center, où nous avons déjeuné.Par la suite, nous sommes allés dans la rue la plus importante de New York : Times Square. Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet endroit plein de lumières !
Après cette petite pause, nous nous sommes dirigés vers une autre incroyable partie de New York : Broadway ! Le groupe 5 nous a présenté le musée de Broadway et, en attendant de pouvoir entrer dans notre salle, nous sommes allés voir un spectacle de rue où Monsieur Buchard s’est fait accoster… Ces personnes faisaient des figures incroyables et sautaient par-dessus des gens, dont Monsieur Buchard !!
Quand l’heure est venue, nous nous sommes dirigés vers la salle pour voir notre fameuse comédie musicale : & Juliet. C’était un spectacle génial : les danseurs et les chanteurs étaient très talentueux et l’histoire était drôle ! C’était une superbe expérience qui s’est terminée au restaurant pour le dîner.
Après le festin, nous sommes rentrés en métro à l’auberge où nous avons bien dormi…

After having a picnic at Rockefeller Center with the meals prepared for us by the hostel, Group 5 (Ewan, Sasha, and Nadir) introduced us to downtown Manhattan. We passed by the MoMA, one of the most popular museums in New York City, created in 1929. We then continued our walk toward Radio City Music Hall and Rockefeller Center, where we had lunch.After that, we went to the most famous street in New York: Times Square. We really loved this place full of lights!
For our afternoon break, we went to Bryant Park, where some people played chess games with locals, others played a typical American game, and some simply relaxed in the park with drinks.
After this short break, we headed to another incredible part of New York: Broadway! Group 5 introduced us to the Broadway Museum and, while waiting to enter the theater, we watched a street performance where Mr. Buchard got approached by the performers… These people were doing incredible tricks and jumping over audience members, including Mr. Buchard!!
When the time came, we headed into the theater to watch our famous musical: & Juliet. It was an amazing show: the dancers and singers were very talented, and the story was funny! It was a wonderful experience that ended with dinner at a restaurant.
After the feast, we took the subway back to the hostel, where we slept soundly…
